Used car Inspection?

Ensuring a thorough pre-purchase inspection is crucial when buying a used car. At Suresh Drives, we utilize advanced technology and a meticulous process to provide you with a comprehensive assessment of the vehicle's condition.

Why a Used Car Pre-Purchase Inspection is Important?

Relying solely on an authorized dealer's service history may not reveal all past issues, such as unrecorded accident repairs or flood damage. Some body shops offer repairs that aren't documented in official service records, allowing significant damages to go unnoticed. Therefore, independent inspections are essential to uncover hidden problems and ensure a transparent buying process.

1. Advanced Car Scanning

We employ state-of-the-art OBD scanners to detect potential issues in the engine, transmission, and brake systems, helping prevent expensive repairs in the future.

2. Detecting Hidden Accident Repairs

Using the Elcometer 311 Paint Meter, we measure paint thickness to identify concealed damage, resprays, or filled body panels that can affect the vehicle's resale value.

3. Digital Videoscope Inspection

Our digital videoscope allows us to inspect hard-to-reach areas for signs of flood damage or concealed repairs, even in places that standard workshops cannot access.

4. Battery Health Check

We provide a detailed battery health report, indicating whether a replacement is necessary. A healthy battery ensures reliability, prevents breakdowns, and enhances resale value.

Finding Hidden Accident works with Elcometer 311

By measuring the vehicle paint thickness, the Elcometer 311 Paint Meter identifies hidden damage on a vehicle, which is often not found in authorized dealer's service history. using an Elcometer 311 Paint Meter in a pre-purchase inspection allows you to quickly identify hidden rework, impact damage, respray and filled body panels, which can all affect a car’s resale value.

The digital videoscope is ideal for inspecting difficult-to-reach areas with its semi-rigid flexible 39.4-inch cable, 10-level adjustable LED light, and 70-degree field of view. The 2-megapixel camera captures high resolution (1920 x 1080) stills and videos with 1-button quick image capture and video recording. There are numerous areas in a car where tools cannot reach for cleaning. Inserting a camera into such places reveals evidence of flood effects. As it is one of our inspection secrets, we cannot disclose all the areas where we use it. Additionally, this device comes in handy during on-site inspections where lifts are unavailable for underbody inspections
